1.Projects to to:

What makes you special?. project/

What makes you special?

I guess what makes me special is the talent of being just me. I usually follow and do things that I feel is right for me like taking decisions about everything regarding me. I personally feel that whatever situation is you know yourself better than others. You know what exact type of person you are, what are your strengths and weaknesses.I just speak whatever is on my mind without thinking that he or she might feel bad ofcourse I say it in a subtle way. This makes me feel satisfied that I don't have to lie. What my mind thinks, my mouth speaks.

Interesting facts about Salvador Dali and Picasso.

1. SALVADOR DALÍ STARTED PAINTING WHEN HE WAS JUST A KID.

Dalí painted one of his earliest known works, Landscape of Figueres, in 1910, when was about 6 years old. The oil-on-postcard work depicts a scene in his Catalonia hometown, and now hangs in the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. He also found success relatively early; he created his most iconic work, The Persistence of Memory, when he was just 27.

2. HE WAS NOT A GREAT STUDENT.

Even from a young age, Dalí bristled at the confines of traditional schooling. He was bright but easily distracted, and more interested in doodling than studying. He began his education at age 4 at a local public school in his hometown of Figueres, but only two years later, his father transferred him to a French-speaking private school, “due to that first option having failed,” as the Dalí Foundation tactfully explains it. At his secondary school, he embraced his love of public attention by throwing himself down stairs in front of his classmates and teachers, as he wrote in his autobiography The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí.

When he graduated, his father insisted that he go to the School of Fine Arts in Madrid, on the grounds that if he had to be a painter, he should at least be qualified to teach. He would be expelled from the school not once, but twice. His first expulsion in 1923 was over his role in student protests involving painter Daniel Vázquez Díaz, who students felt had been unfairly denied a professorship in the painting department. However, Dalí returned to school the next year, only to face expulsion again in 1926.

In his autobiography, Dalí explained that his second expulsion was the result of him refusing to submit to an oral exam, telling them, “I am infinitely more intelligent than these three professors, and I therefore refuse to be examined by them. I know this subject much too well.” This marked the final straw for his academic career.

3. HE MADE HIMSELF HALLUCINATE.

DALÍ ATOMICUS, PHILIPPE HALSMAN, LIBRARY OF CONGRESS // PUBLIC DOMAIN

Dalí pioneered what he called the “Paranoiac-Critical” method, designed to help him access his subconscious. He described it as a “spontaneous method of irrational knowledge, based on the critical-interpretative association of the phenomena of delirium.” One of the ways he would access this delirious state without drugs or alcohol was to stare at a fixed object and try to see something different within it—much like you might see a shape in the clouds, as the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia explains it [PDF]. Or, he would try to keep himself between sleep and wakefulness, napping with a spoon in his hand and a mixing bowl in his lap. When he fell asleep, the spoon would fall into the bowl, and he would wake up. He would continue to do this in order to keep himself in a semi-conscious, dreamlike state, according to Dalí scholar Bernard Ewell.

4. HE WAS OBSESSED WITH SIGMUND FREUD.

The Surrealist movement was heavily influenced by Sigmund Freud, whose work was just beginning to be translated into French for the first time when the movement emerged in Paris in 1924. Dalí began reading Freud as a young man at art school in Madrid, and the psychoanalyst’s ideas about dreams and the subconscious had a profound impact on his work. “The book presented itself to me as one of the capital discoveries of my life,” he wrote about reading Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams.

The feeling wasn’t exactly mutual at first. Freud considered the Surrealists "complete fools” and had little interest in avant garde art. But Dalí was determined to meet Freud. “My three voyages to Vienna were exactly like three drops of water which lacked the reflections to make them glitter,” the artist wrote in his autobiography. “On each of these voyages I did exactly the same things: in the morning I went to see the Vermeer in the Czernin Collection, and in the afternoon I did not go to visit Freud because I invariably learned he was out of town for reasons of health.” (Emphasis in the original.) Finally, Dalí set up an appointment to meet with the 82-year-old Freud in London in the summer of 1938. Dalí recounts that “we spoke little, but we devoured each other with our eyes.” This may have been less romantic than Dalí frames it; Freud had mouth cancer, and an artificial palate made it difficult for him to speak.

Nevertheless, Dalí showed Freud his painting Metamorphosis of Narcissus, the first painting he made entirely using his paranoiac critical method, as well as an article he wrote on paranoia. The psychoanalyst later wrote to Stefan Zweig, who arranged the meeting, that Dalí was an “undoubtedly perfect technical master” who forced him to reconsider his opinion of Surrealists.

Non-countinuous verbs

There are some verbs that we do not normally use with continuous (or progressive) tenses. And there are other verbs that have one meaning with simple tenses and a different meaning with continuous tenses.

Non-continuous verbs are verbs that we do not normally use with continuous tenses. These «stative» verbs are about state, not action, and they cannot express the continuous or progressive aspect. Here are some of the most common non-continuous verbs:

feeling: hate, like, love, prefer, want, wish

senses: appear, feel, hear, see, seem, smell, sound, taste

communication: agree, deny, disagree, mean, promise, satisfy, surprise

thinking: believe, imagine, know, mean, realize, recognize, remember, understand

other states: be, belong, concern, depend, involve, matter, need, owe, own, possess

Look at these example sentences, right and wrong:

Notice that we often use can + see/hear:

I can see someone in the distance. notI am seeing someone in the distance.

I can’t hear you very well. not I am not hearing you very well.

Who Was Theodore Roosevelt?

Theodore Roosevelt was governor of New York before becoming U.S. vice president. At age 42, Roosevelt became the youngest man to assume the U.S. presidency after President William McKinley was assassinated in 1901. He won a second term in 1904. Known for his anti-monopoly policies and ecological conservationism, Roosevelt won the Nobel Peace Prize for his part in ending the Russo-Japanese War.

Early Life

Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858, in New York City, to Theodore "Thee" Roosevelt Sr., of Dutch heritage, and Martha "Mittie" Bulloch, a Southern belle rumored to have been a prototype for the Gone with the Wind character Scarlett O'Hara. His family owned a successful plate-glass import business.

As a young boy, Roosevelt — or "Teedie," as he was known to his family members (he wasn't fond of the nickname "Teddy") — spent a lot of time inside his family's handsome brownstone, homeschooled due to his illnesses and asthma. This gave him the opportunity to nurse his passion for animal life, but by his teens, with the encouragement of his father, whom he revered, Roosevelt developed a rigorous physical routine that included weightlifting and boxing.

When his father died during his second year at Harvard College, Roosevelt channeled his grief into working even harder. After graduating magna cum laude in 1880, he enrolled at Columbia Law School and got married to Alice Hathaway Lee of Massachusetts.

Political Life

Roosevelt didn't stay long at law school, opting instead to join the New York State Assembly as a representative from New York City — becoming the youngest to serve in that position. Not long after, Roosevelt was speeding through various public service positions, including captain of the National Guard and minority leader of the New York Assembly. However, the tragic deaths of his mother and his wife, which occurred on the same day (February 14, 1884), propelled Roosevelt to leave for the Dakota Territory for two years. There, he lived as a cowboy and cattle rancher, leaving his infant daughter in the care of his elder sister.

Returning to political life in 1886, Roosevelt was defeated for the New York City mayorship. Around the same time, he married his second wife, Edith Kermit Carow, whom he had known as a child (they had watched the funeral procession of Abraham Lincoln from a window in his grandfather's house on Union Square in New York City). Roosevelt soon resumed his career trajectory, first as a civil service commissioner, then as a New York City police commissioner and Assistant U.S. Navy Secretary under President McKinley.

Global problems

People have lived in our planet Earth for centuries and global problems have always existed. In ancient times the biggest global problem was wars.Today, there are more global problems which can be divided into two categories: ecological problems and social, economic and political issues. The first category includes issues relating to ecological destruction, pollution and global warming as the result. The climate is changing and many people agree that climate change may be one of the greatest threats facing the planet. The second category of global problems deals with social, economic and political issues. They include global terrorism, poverty, human rights, health issues, racism and many others.I am sure that they can be solved completely without any conflicts or wars.

tangerines are a symbol of the new year. in the new year, we are going to sit at a friendly family table on which

there must be olivier, champagne and other delicious dishes prepared by my mother’s golden hands. No less important are New Year's fireworks, which dad launches every new year. our neighbors also go out to see the New Year's lights. then we go into the house and together we wait for 00:00.

Echmiadzin Cathedral was the first official church, built in the IV century. First Catholicos Gregory the Illuminator (Lusvorich) dreamed that Christ came down from the sky with a fiery hammer in the hand and pointed out the place to build a church. In the year 303 in that place, where at the time was an ancient pagan temple, the church was founded, named Echmiadzin.

4. Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world

Yerevan, the 13th capital city of Armenia, one of the oldest cities in the world, is located in the north-eastern part of the Ararat Valley. It was founded in 782 BC by King Argishti I. Yerevan is 29 years older than Rome. In 2018 Yerevan will celebrate its 2800 anniversary.

5. The Armenian alphabet is one of the most advanced in the world

The Armenian alphabet was created in 405-406 AD by a scholar and monk Mesrop Mashtots. The key to creating the Armenian alphabet served the ancient Armenian language, consisting of 28 letters, which absolutely didn’t correspond to the sounds of the Armenian language. Mashtots’ alphabet consists of 36 letters. 7 letters convey vowel sounds and 29 letters – consonants. After the XII century 2 more letters appeared in the alphabet, and in 1940 through the merger of existing two letters another letter appeared in the alphabet, but it has no title. Scientists consider the Armenian alphabet one of the three most advanced in the world, along with Georgian and Korean alphabets.

Mesrop Mashtots is also the creator of the Georgian and Albanian alphabets. More than one thousand six hundred years the Armenian alphabet exists almost unchanged. The monument to the Armenian alphabet and its creator Mesrop Mashtots is in the village of Artashavan, on the slope of Mount Aragats.

6. The world’s first textbook of arithmetic problems was created by an Armenian mathematician

The world’s first textbook of arithmetic problems was created by an Armenian scientists the VI century mathematician David the Invincible. A sample of this book is kept at Matenadaran – the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts named after St. Mesrop Mashtots. Matenadaran is one of the largest repositories of manuscripts in the world. Matenadaran is also the world’s largest repository of ancient Armenian manuscripts.

7. Armenia is the homeland of apricot

Armenia is considered to be the homeland of apricot. This is due to the history of the penetration of apricot from Asia to Europe. The famous French biologist De Poerderle (fr. De Poerderlé) in the XVIII century, wrote: “The name of this tree comes from Armenian, Asian province, where it appeared and from where it was brought to Europe …”

Previously it was thought that in the XIX century, the apricot was imported from Armenia to Greece by Alexander the Great, and then from Greece to Italy. This version was not confirmed by the Roman and Greek inscriptions of the time: apricot is not mention there.

However, apricot is mentioned in the sources of the I century, which gives evidence that the apricot was in Italy in the I century BC, after the Roman-Parthian Wars. Apricot was called “Armenian apple” (lat. Mela armeniaca, lat. pomum armeniacum), which confirms the theory that the apricot was brought to Rome from Armenia. Arab geographer Ibn al-Faqih in his “Book of Countries” (903) mentions the Armenian apricot under its Armenian name “tsiran” and calls it “the fruit of Armenia.”

Famous Armenian musical instrument “duduk” is made of apricot wood.

8. Biblical mountain Ararat

Mount Ararat is the symbol of Armenia. It is depicted on the emblem of the country. Noah landed on Mount Ararat on his ark after the waters of the world Flood subsided “And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat” (Genesis 8:4).

Ararat Mountain range consists of two extinct volcanoes: Great Ararat (in Armenian Masis, 5165 m) and Small Ararat (in Armenian Sis, 3927 m).

However, at present, the mountain is not in Armenia. It is in the territory of modern Turkey. It was moved to Turkey in 1921 by the Treaty of Kars. The modern Republic of Armenia doesn’t recognize the Treaty of Kars.

 9. Armenian Genocide

Armenian Genocide – Armenian massacres organized and implemented by the authorities of the Ottoman Empire in 1915 and lasted until 1923. The genocide was carried out by means of physical destruction and deportation, including the displacement of the civilian population in the conditions that lead to certain death. In 1907 in Turkey the power was taken by the Young Turks, who had the ideology of pan-Turkism, or the dream of a “Great Turan” from the Balkans to the Altai. Turkey’s entry into the First World War in 1914 gave the Young Turks the opportunity for a final decision of “the Armenian issue”, that is, the complete extermination of the Armenians.

“Who now remembers the extermination of the Armenians?” – asked Adolf Hitler, thus motivating the German attack on Poland and planning the Holocaust.

About 1,500.00 Armenians were violently killed. Armenian Genocide is recognized and condemned by 26 countries. This event was 100 years old on April 24, 2015.

10. The Armenian Diaspora

The total number of Armenians in the world is 10-12 million, whereas the population of Armenia is around 3 million.

After the 1915 genocide nearly 500,000 Armenians were scattered around the world and Armenian Diaspora greatly increased. Armenian refugees from Turkey settled in many cities of Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Middle East. Large Armenian communities now exist in the United States, Russia, Iran, Lebanon, Ukraine, France, Syria, Argentina, Jordan, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, Australia and other countries.

Diaspora has a great economic and political support to Armenia.

11. Winery in Areni is the oldest in the world

A few years ago in the village of Areni, located on the bank of the river Arpa in Areni-1 the world’s oldest winery was found, which had produced wine over six thousand years ago. Among the items found: press juice extraction, fermentation vessels, cups for drinking, the remains of vines and seeds. Scientists believe that the grapes, from which the wine was made in Armenia 6000 years ago, was the ancestor of the famous Pinot Noir. Now in France, they produce expensive wine from this sort of grape.

The village of Areni is famous for its wine even now. Every year in October it hosts an annual wine festival.

12. The oldest shoes

In September 2008, in the village of Areni the oldest shoe in the world was discovered. It aged over 5500 years. The footwear was found together with goat horns in a neatly shaped hole with the depth of 45 cm and a diameter of 44cm. It has been perfectly preserved thanks to the special microclimate, and that it was under a thick layer of sheep excrement, which acted as a hard protective shell. The shoe was of 37-th size and was filled with straw and grass. It was worn on the right foot, and it was made from a single piece of leather. Also the shoelaces and holes with 2-3 mm in diameter meant for the shoelaces have been preserved.

Image result for alpha centauri

Alpha Centauri, also called Rigil Kentaurus, triple star, the faintest component of which, Proxima Centauri, is the closest star to the Sun, about 4.2 light-years distant. The two brighter components, called A and B, about 0.2 light-year farther from the Sun, revolve around each other with a period of about 80 years, while Proxima circles them with a period of 550,000 years. The brightest component star, Alpha Centauri A, resembles the Sun in spectral type, diameter, and absolute magnitude. Its apparent visual magnitude is 0.0. The second brightest component, Alpha Centauri B, of visual magnitude 1.4, is a redder star. The third component, Proxima, of 11th magnitude, is a red dwarf star.

As seen from Earth, the system is the fourth brightest star (after Sirius, Canopus, and Arcturus); the red dwarf Proxima is invisible to the unaided eye. Alpha Centauri lies in the southern constellation Centaurus and can be seen only from south of about 40° north latitude. In 2016 the International Astronomical Union designated Alpha Centauri A as Rigil Kentaurus, which comes from Rijl al-Qanṭūris, Arabic for “foot of the Centaur.”

Proxima has one planet, Proxima Centauri b, the closest extrasolar planet, which was discovered in 2016. Its mass is at least 1.3 times that of Earth and thus is deemed a rocky planet like Earth. Its orbital period of 11.2 days puts it within Proxima’s habitable zone, at the distance from the star where water can exist in liquid form on a planet’s surface. Where there is liquid water, there may be the conditions to support life.

Simba

Simba is an adult male lion, the king of Pride Rock, and the only son of Mufasa and Sarabi. He is the mate of Nala, with whom he has two cubs: a daughter, Kiara, and a son, Kion.

Shortly after his birth, he was anointed the future king and presented to the animals of the Pride Lands in a royal presentation ceremony. As the crown prince, he was raised to respect the Circle of Life by his father, Mufasa, and trained in the ways of an upright monarch. During this time, Simba's uncle Scar lured him into a wildebeest stampede and used the opportunity to kill Mufasa. Simba blamed himself for the death and exiled himself to the jungle, where he adopted a "Hakuna Matata" lifestyle with Timon and Pumbaa.

As an adult, Simba encountered his childhood friend, Nala, who begged him to return to the Pride Lands and reestablish his birthright as king. Retaining guilt over the death of his father, Simba refused. However, an encounter with his father's ghost prompted him to return home, where he found the Pride Lands in disarray under Scar's tyrannical rule. Along with the lionesses, Simba confronted Scar and engaged in a battle against his hyena minions. After defeating Scar, Simba ascended Pride Rock and established his place as king of the Pride Lands.

Armenians use the French word for “thank you”

Technically, the Armenian word for “thank you” is shnorakalutsyun. Instead of using this long word, many Armenian-speakers will use the French merci, along with the term of endearment, jan. The latter can’t be translated, but it expresses a tender attitude.

Armenians greet each other with a kiss and hold hands

It’s always a good idea to be aware of the customs for greetings and farewells in a new place. In Armenia, visitors might notice locals kissing on the cheek when they meet, which is the most common greeting among friends and family. Additionally, it’s not uncommon for women to hold hands. This is not necessarily an indication that they are in a relationship; it’s simply a common way for close friends to show affection.

Splashing water brings luck

Armenia has a limited water reservoir, and, therefore, locals know the worth of this natural resource. Many of the country’s traditions that involve water symbolize appreciation, life, and good luck. One of the most fun holidays is Vardavar, which has Pagan roots and celebrates the goddess of purity and water. On this day, everyone gets splashed with water in the streets of every Armenian city and town. It’s a way to get out of the normal routine and to purify the body—and have the time of your life.

Notatre

With its long-necked neck and very sharp teeth, this marine creeper was well-armed for catching fish that made up of the Triassic whale seas. The sea-reptiles of the Mesozoic era originated from the land animals that were walking on four strong legs. The notebooks had the same structure as the tricks, but they were tailor-made for swimming with their swollen legs and a long, strong tail through which they were moving in the water. Long, sharp teeth of sketches were ideal for catching fish, which were their main hunting.

1 The death of Lord Carnarvon

Lord Carnarvon, the amateur Egyptologist who funded the excavation, died five months after the tomb was discovered. It caused a media frenzy, which only became more frenetic when it was reported that, at the exact time of his death, there was a blackout in Cairo. Rumours abounded including that on the night he died, Susie, Carnarvon’s dog in England, let out a howl and died herself. His death was blamed on a curse but, in truth, he died of blood poisoning from an infected mosquito bite.

2

The curse continues

The deaths of other members of the excavation parties at Tutankhamun’s tomb helped the story of the curse grew stronger. But of the dozens of people involved in the excavation, only eight died within 12 years. These included:

• Howard Carter’s personal secretary Richard Bethell was found dead in his bed in 1929.

• Bethell’s father commited suicide in suspicious circumstances in 1930.

• Sir Archibold Douglas-Reid was a radiologist who x-rayed the body of Tutankhamun – he died of a mystery illness in 1924.

• Arthur Mace, a member of the excavation team, died in 1928.

• Even visitors were not safe – Prince Ali Kemal Fahmy Bey was shot by his wife in 1923 after entering the tomb.

3

Fungal causes?

Several people, including physician and biologist Dr Ezzeddin Taha of Cairo University, have suggested that the mysterious illnesses may have been contracted from breathing in a fungus living on the walls of the tomb. The ancient ailment would have been able survive in the sealed space for thousands of years.

4

The cobra and the canary

Howard Carter was sceptical of any curse but he was surrounded by superstition. Another curse rumour claims that on the day the tomb was opened, a cobra ate Carter’s pet canary. This was seen as proof of the curse as the cobra is a symbol of the goddess Wadjet, a protector of the kings and queens of Egypt.

5

Fair warning?

It was reported that an inscription was found above the entrance to the burial chamber reading, ‘Death will come on swift pinions to those who disturb the rest of the Pharaoh’. This seems like an ominous sign but there are two key problems. Firstly, is it really there? Tombs had plenty of hieroglyphics on the walls but they were intended to help the deceased in the underworld. Secondly, who was it for? It is highly unlikely a written curse would put off grave robbers who could not read hieroglyphics.

Hovhannes Tumanyan was born on February 19, 1869 in the village of Dsegh, Tiflis Governorate, Russian Empire (now in Lori Province, Armenia).

His father, Aslan (1839–1898), was the village priest known by the name Ter-Tadevos. He was an offspring of an Armenian princely family of Tumanyan, branch of the famous royal house of Mamikonian that settled in Lori in 10th–11th centuries from their original feudal fief of Taron.

His mother, Sona (1842–1936), was an avid storyteller with a particular interest in fables. Young Tumanyan was the oldest of eight children; his siblings were Rostom (1871–1915), Osan (1874–1926), Iskuhi (1878–1943), Vahan (1881–1937), Astghik (1885–1953), Arshavir (1888–1921), Artashes (1892–1916).

From 1877–1879, Tumanyan attended the parochial school of Dsegh. From 1879–1883 he went to a school in Jalaloghly.[5] Tumanyan moved to Tiflis in 1883, where he attended the Nersisyan School from 1883–1887 Tumanyan's wrote his first poem at the age of 12, while studying in Jalaloghly school. He lived at the teacher's house for a while and fell in love with the teacher's daughter Vergine. Since 1893, Tumanyan worked for Aghbyur, Murtch, Hasker and Horizon periodicals and also was engaged in public activism.

In 1899, Tumanyan came up with an idea of organizing meetings of Armenian intellectuals of the time at his house on 44 Bebutov Street in Tiflis (present-day Amaghleba 18, in Sololaki). Soon it became an influential literary group, which often gathered in the garret of Tumanyan's house. Vernatun means garret in Armenian, which was the name the group was referred to. Prominent members of the collective were Avetik Isahakyan, Derenik Demirchyan, Levon Shant, Ghazaros Aghayan, Perch Proshyan, Nikol Aghbalian, Alexander Shirvanzade, Nar-Dos, Vrtanes Papazyan, Vahan Terian, Leo, Stepan Lisitsyan, Mariam Tumanyan, Gevorg Bashinjagyan and many other significant Armenian figures of early 20th century. With some pauses, it existed until 1908.

In 1912 Tumanyan was elected the president of the Company of Caucasus Armenian Writers

In the fall of 1921, Tumanyan went to Constantinople to find support of Armenian refugees. After months spent there, he returned ill. After surgery in 1922, he started to get better. But in September, Tumanyan's disease started to progress again. He was transferred to a hospital in Moscow, where he died on March 23, 1923

                                                                                  Christmas in Chine

In China, only about one percent of people are Christians, so most people only know a few things about Christmas. Because of this, Christmas is only often celebrated in major cities. In these big cities there are Christmas Trees, lights and other decorations on the streets and in department stores. Santa Claus is called 'Shen Dan Lao Ren' and has grottos in shops like in Europe and America. The post men might dress up as Santa when delivering letters before Christmas! More young people are celebrating Christmas in cities where Christmas parties are becoming popular and it's also a time where young couples will be gifts for each other, a bit like Valentine's day.In Chinese Happy/Merry Christmas is 'Sheng Dan Kuai Le or in Mandarin and 'Seng Dan Fai Lok or  in Cantonese. Happy/Merry Christmas in lots more languages. In China, Santa is known as 'Sheng dan lao ren'means Old Christmas Man). Only a few people have a Christmas Tree. If people do have a tree it is normally a plastic one and might be decorated with paper chains, paper flowers, and paper lanterns (they might also call it a tree of light). The Christmas Trees that most people would see would be in shopping malls. The strange thing is that most of the world's plastic Christmas Trees and Christmas decorations are made in China, but the people making them might not have decorations like them in their own homes at Christmas! A tradition that's becoming popular, on Christmas Eve, is giving apples. Many stores have apples wrapped up in colored paper for sale. People give apples on Christmas Eve because in Chinese Christmas Eve is called "Ping'an Ye" , meaning peaceful or quiet evening, which has been translated from the carol 'Silent Night'. The word for apple in Mandarin is "píngguǒ" which sounds like the word for peace. Some people go Carol singing, although not many people understand them or know about the Christmas Story. Jingle Bells is a popular Christmas song in China! People who are Christians in China go to special services. Going to Midnight Mass services has become very popular.

The moon

The moon is the brightest object in our night sky. On some nights, the moon looks like a huge shining circle of light. On other nights, it looks like a thin, silver fingernail. But the moon does not really change its size or shape. And it does not make its own light. The light we see comes from the sun and bounces off the moon.

What is the moon

The stars are trillions of miles away. The sun is millions of miles away. But the moon is only about 384000 kilometers away. As Earth moves through space, the moon is always beside it. The moon moves around Earth.

The moon is smaller than most planets and stars. If Earth were the size of a basketball, the moon would be about the size of a tennis ball.

The moon is a ball of gray rock. Some of it is covered with dust. It has no air and no water. Most living things that we know of could not survive on the moon.

What holds the moon in place? The moon is held in place by the tug of Earth’s stronger gravity.

Earth is a watery planet. More than two-thirds of Earth’s surface is covered with water. That’s good for all the living things in our world because animals and plants live almost everywhere on Earth.

Earth is the thired planet from the sun,and air surrounds it.The air is made up of gases such as oxygan, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. These gases are needed for almost all living things to survive. Human beings breathe in oxygan.Plants need carbon dioxide. If you look at a globe, you will find the North Pole on one end and the South Pole on the other. Earth looks like a ball, but it is actually a little flatter at the North and South Poles. Earth travels 595 milion miles(958 million kilometers) around the sun. If takes 365 days for Earth to orbit the sun once. That’s why there are about 365 days in an earth-year.

What is the sun?

The sun is a star. It is the cosest star to Earth. Our word sun comes from the word Sol(sahl). Sol was the name of the ancient Roman sun god. From the name Sol comes our word solar(SOH luhr), which means» of the sun.»And our solar system includes everything that moves around the sun. The sumn glows because it is extremly hot. The sun’s center, its core, is a kind of giant furnace in which the temperature is about 27 milion °F (15 milion °C). The sun may not look it, but it is huge. At least 333000 planets the size of Earth could fit into the son. Why doesn’t the son look huge to us? The farther away something is, the smaller it appears. And the sun is about 93 milion miles (150 milion km) from Earth!

Answer the questions in written form.

1.How have standards of beauty changed over the years?

I would not say that the idea of beauty has changed so much over the years.

People mostly look at beauty as fair skin, slim body, green eyes etc.

People with dark skin or not thin body are still looked down upon by some people.

I still could heard people fat shaming and rejecting the person cause of their colour.

*Everybody Is Beautiful* is still not in the head of many people.

But there is a very little change we can observe when we look at the movements on Instagram or Twitter appreciating people's very own beauty.

Hope we will soon be able to erase the specific beauty standards validated by some people and will start look at the beauty of the heart rather than the face.

2.What makes a person beautiful to you?

Beauty is the charm and magnetism of a person which give an individual a feeling of happiness and contentment. It is the mixture of perfect features with a perfect face-cut that makes a person attractive. A beautiful individual is fashionable and respected. Beauty is a real reward of God, for which we must often thank the almighty. An individual is said to be perfectly beautiful if he/she is beautiful from inside and outside, meaning the outer pretty and lovely looks are not enough you need to be pretty from within, you should have a clean and lovely heart along with a good face. There are certainly other things that sum up to your attractiveness like your charm, elegance, beam motion, intelligence, character, and style along with a healthy body, charming youth, skin and perfect symmetry. All these things with a clean heart which holds warmth for others are considered to be a truly wonderful human. An individual with all the above-reported features makes him truly beautiful. Your behavior basically is what makes you wonder.

3.Can products be beautiful? What makes a product beautiful? What is the most beautiful product you own?

4.Where is the most beautiful place you have been?

Okay, as far as cities go, my favorite is Rome. I love the ancient feel to it, the history thats just lying about in ruins all around. I also liked the vegan pizzas, free water and the many, many fountains...despite having accidently fallen into one on a very cold night, after being locked out of my hostel. (I spent the night shivering on a card-board box in some random park. )

And for outdoorsy places I'll say Punta Uvita in Costa Rica. Out on the whales tail at midnight. Pitch black, no moon, but the ocean is lit up by millions of little phosporesant fish. Amazing! (but its only one of many, we are blessed with a fantastic world!)

5.Why do humans find things other than humans beautiful? How does it help us?

The perception of beauty Is very biological. It is probably brought into being by the genes propagated by ancestors who pursued certain types of mates. You come to love yourself if left to your own devices. So over time certain ideas become dominant such as muscles. Being larger.

So its both cultural and biological.

This accounts for the different types of beauty, in human physiology.

As for natural beauty there are types of beauty That are simply automatically realized, and society drives the mind To reject It.

6.What is the most beautiful song you have heard?

7.What features make a natural area beautiful?

7.What makes a piece of art beautiful to you? Are there any striking examples of beauty in art?

8.How does the absence of beauty affect people?

9.What is the most beautiful thing in your life?

10.Is beauty only in the eye of the beholder, or can we say some things are universally beautiful?
